Terms of use and sale

Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Discover Our Trip website and the subscription to its paid features, offered by MulerTech (Sébastien Muler, sole proprietor) to consumers within the European Union. Using the website or subscribing implies full acceptance of these terms.

Account

Some features require a verified user account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity performed through your account. You must provide a valid email address and keep it up to date.

Services

Free features include the travel blog and the interactive map of points of interest. The paid subscription unlocks premium features: route calculation (simple as well as optimized multi-stop itineraries) adapted to your vehicle dimensions, and personal maps with saved point collections (as they become available). Fair-use quotas apply to computation-heavy features to keep the service available to everyone.

Price and payment

The subscription price is displayed on the pricing page, in euros, all taxes included. Payment is processed by Stripe; no card data is stored on our servers. Prices may change; any change applies to the next billing period only, after prior notice.

Duration, renewal and termination

The subscription is billed monthly or yearly, depending on the chosen plan, and renews automatically at each period end. You can cancel at any time from your account; access to the paid features then remains active until the end of the current paid period, and no further payment is taken. We may suspend or terminate an account in case of fraud or serious breach of these terms, after notice when practicable.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the subscription start. By requesting immediate access to the paid features, you expressly agree that the service starts before the end of the withdrawal period; if you withdraw within 14 days, you are refunded proportionally to the unused period. To exercise this right, contact us at the address given in the legal notice.

Liability

Routes and vehicle restrictions are computed on a best-effort basis from OpenStreetMap data, which may be incomplete or outdated. They never replace the driver's own judgement, local signage and applicable traffic rules. The publisher cannot be held liable for the consequences of relying on a computed route, nor for temporary unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first; you may also use the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or a consumer mediator: [To be completed: mediator name and contact].
